As an HR Ops Specialist, you will be part of a brand new team where the main tasks are to deal with the administrative part of Human Resources and to run the payroll for our entities in the United States and Canada. 

In HR, there is no "basic day". You may have to work on a lot of different topics and maybe face some unforeseen requests so here is a non-exhaustive list of subjects you may help with:

Admin
-    Make sure we have every information needed on time to be able to onboard our new joiners properly ; be their identified contact from the HR Ops team for the future employees and also the other teams in charge of the Pigment onboarding (IT, office management, managers),
-    Formalize contractual elements during all the employees' journey (labor contracts, amendments, certificates),
-    Take care of our HR follow-ups and update them each time it is needed,
-    Make sure our HRIS and payroll information are always up-to-date through regular audits and appropriate quality control methods,
-   Help with the immigration requests (work permits obtentions, renewals)
 
Payroll
-  Update the relevant matrices on a daily basis
-  Provide the needed information on time to our providers and to the Finance team to ensure our employees will be paid on time,
- Be part of the cross-validations,
 
Team work
-    Closely work with a lot of various teams such as Talent Acquisition, HR BP & Finance,
-    Be prepared to answer a lot of questions.
