Our Operations & HR Manager will wear several hats at the company -- supporting Atlas AI’s operations functions including People Ops, Finance, IT and systems management; specifically this role will have a heavy HR-focus with managing recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, company offsites, being the champion of company culture and constantly thinking about how we can be a world class people-first company; this role will also partner with our Head of Operations to develop a winning operational strategy and foster an energetic, high-performance organization.
Our Operations & HR Manager will instill the team, culture and management systems necessary to execute the work toward scaling the company and driving our go-to-market strategy. As Operations & HR Manager you'll:
- Drive the people operations of the company including our outsourced HR, payroll and benefits platform (both US PEO and global PEOs/payroll providers)
- Partner with Atlas AI’s Head of Operations to evolve and oversee our applicant tracking systems and all recruiting initiatives including managing our third-party recruitment team
- Support our remote work and IT strategies including identifying and managing external vendors/partners and implementing new tools and platforms to support cross-functional work for global teams
- Support our Head of Operations with day-to-day operational needs (expense reimbursements, invoicing, vendor payments, keeping Gdrive organized, planning company-wide events, issuing IT and other work equipment, and other Ops needs as required)
We're looking for someone who has:
- ~3-4 years relevant experience in HR/Ops roles with a preference with some experience working in an early stage startup setting
- Enjoyment working across geographies and cultures, and facilitating effective collaboration and communication across regions and functions
- Deep HR acumen and technical recruiting knowledge, including comfort managing the entire employee lifecycle from candidate onboarding to employee engagement to employee offboarding
- Excellent organizational and project management skills and strongly held philosophies about people-first company culture
- Enthusiasm about working with a blank canvas and connecting disparate data points to develop a recommendation to leadership
- Attention to detail, but comfort managing trade offs between attention to detail and speed of execution
- Deep empathy for other team members and ability to adapt communication styles to best reach and engage an audience
We are ideally looking for a candidate in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY (remote with meet-ups occasionally in-person).
Salary range for candidates depending upon level of experience: up to $90,000.
