Jimmy Beans Wool is a leading e-commerce retail store born in 2002 in Truckee, California. We’ve evolved into Reno’s beloved Local Yarn Shop. With a team of over 30 vibrant individuals and a 20,000 sq ft warehouse, we are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Office Manager to join our dynamic team! Position Overview:

HR Office Manager – We invite individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic setting to contribute to our success by serving as a crucial link overseeing the daily operations of our office. As a key player, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive work environment, managing staff, and ensuring the overall well-being of our workplace.

 

Department: Human Resource – Office Management

Liaison Departments: Procurement, Safety, Finance, Diversity, Community, HR Office Manager in Texas

Position: Full time – Salaried

Salary: Experience Based

 

As the HR Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail & warehouse facility.

Principal Responsibilities & Deliverables Include:

Cultural Development and Team Events:

·        Drive Jimmy Beans culture goals

·        Schedule and coordinate team events.

 Budget Management:

·        Administers admin and facilities budget.

·        Creates and implements budget processes.

·        Meet or exceeds annual budget goals.

 

                          HR and Compliance:

·        Responsible for maintaining Retail & petty cash banks and making weekly cash deposits.

·        Lead HR hiring, onboarding, reviews, and management.

·        Manage payroll and ensure compliance.

·        Explain company policies and benefits to employees.

·        Share company HR duties with onsite Texas HR Manager

 

                           Training and Development:

·        Develop and maintain training manuals.

 

                          Facility Operations:

·        Order office supplies and handle tech purchases.

·        Provide support in tax-related matters.

·        Ensure safety and conduct routine maintenance. 

 

                        Employee Scheduling:

·        Manage employee weekly schedules.

 

                        Administrative Duties:

·        Maintain/update personnel files and records.

·        Efficiently handle mail and manage chargebacks.

·        Oversee shift openers, closers, and key holders.

                        Accounts Payable:

·        Handle taxes, vendors, and work with the accountant and bookkeeper to gather, file, and submit required documents at month and year-end.

Requirements:

·        Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar HR role.

·        Knowledge of tax-related processes.

·        Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

·        Familiarity with technology and supply procurement.

·        Excellent communication and leadership abilities in one-on-one, small and large group settings

·        Ability to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

·        Proficient PC skills, as well as, working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook.

·        High attention to detail and effective organizational skills.

·        Ability to facilitate collaboration and interaction.

·        Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.

·        Strong interpersonal skills.

 

 

Education:

·        Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

·        1 to 3 years of experience in general human resource duties preferred.
