The Human Resource / Payroll Manager at Toyota of Olympia is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This includes recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits and payroll administration. The position is full-time and based in Tumwater, WA. The Human Resource / Payroll Manager is an individual contributor role.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position is full time salary with competitive salary commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid leave, vacation and sick days, 401k plan, and other perks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, implement, and administer Human Resources processes, policies, and procedures
• Manage the hiring process, from recruiting and onboarding to interviews and contract negotiation
• Develop and execute plans to maintain employee morale and satisfaction
• Oversee employee records, pay, and benefits administration
• Handle employee relations issues as they arise and resolve grievances
• Ensure checks and balances are maintained in compliance with all governing bodies
• Develop organizational goals, objectives, and budgets
• Track and report HR metrics such as turnover, cost per hire, time to hire, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the auto industry
• Knowledge of relevant laws and best practices for HR
• Proven track record of successful onboarding and employee development
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Office and HR databases and W2
