HR Data and HR Compliance Analyst
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises, a defense contractor, has an immediate need for a solutions-oriented HR Data andCompliance Analystwho is a team-player that will provide key support to the Human Resources team. This is an in-office role.
Job Description:
HRIS:
  • Lead the Integration and Implementation of a 2024 integrated HR Platform.
  • Collaborate with vendors to learn, implement and train others in new features and updates.
  • Provide support as a Superuser, and lead the implementation, configuration and training for existing HRIS (Paylocity & Paycor) modules and features.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure a seamless integration between multiple systems in a Defense Contractor environment.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of HR data within and between the HRIS modules.
  • Train HR team members and others on new and existing systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to system integrations and upgrades.
HR Data:
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports using HRIS Data and various systems and reporting tools (Paylocity, Paycor, Costpoint, and Power BI).
  • Understand the interplay between HR functional activities, compile and analyze HR Data and statistics to identify trends, develop insights, make recommendations, and generate reports and presentations on actionable items.
  • Assist in the development of HR metrics, and HR surveys, and perform statistical analyses, develop insights and draw relevant conclusions on both.
Process Documentation:
  • Maintain thorough documentation of HRIS processes, configurations, and changes.
  • Ensure all processes are flowcharted.
  • Develop user guides and documentation to facilitate systems’ use.
Compliance:
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all legally compliant Federal Contractor/OFCCP/ EEOC reports and actions (AAP, EEO-1, Vets, VEVRAA, etc.).
  • Maintain ongoing up-to-date knowledge in Employment Law.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and practices to ensure compliance with federal, multi-state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of HR processes, decisions, and actions.
  • Recommend and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with changing laws and regulations and assure compliance.
  • Maintain compliance-related records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Identify compliance-related concerns or incidents and raise them to the HR Director.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance overall compliance effectiveness.
  • Participate in or lead discussions on Compliance related matters.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or HR, or a Masters in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, with proven experience that matches the job description as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role, with experience in HR Compliance and Employment Law and who has had direct responsibility for the development of AAP’s.
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS platforms and their functionalities. Including but not limited to Paycor, Paylocity, and Costpoint, or other systems.
  • In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law, regulations, and HR best practices, and demonstrated willingness and ability to maintain ongoing knowledge and to apply it to this role.
  • Strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop insights and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
  • Assures attention to details and timeliness, has the ability to effectively prioritize, the ability to create accurate project plans, and to be flexible based on organizational needs.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel.

  • Occasional Travel-Up to 10%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Extended sitting, manual dexterity for keyboarding, ability to integrate and analyze complex data, ability to listen for understanding, and to speak clearly.
  • Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
