The Costpoint Functional Administrator will partner with various HR groups to design and develop/mature the HR Modules of Costpoint as it pertains to the organization's requirements, mainly HCM, Time Collection and Payroll.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will design, configure, test, document, and support Costpoint HR modules including: Labor/Leave, Benefits, Payroll, HR, and Time & Expense. The individual will act as the functional lead and provide guidance and direction for the HR department daily processes as well as implement best practices.
Identifies and implements solutions to routine, moderately complex, and complex challenges and issues. Uses a high degree of insight, research, and analytical skills, to develop new or enhanced methods and techniques to resolve problems and provides recommendations.
Acts as a trusted advisor by working closely with the HR team in order to understand and anticipate their needs. Develop solutions and makes recommendations that consider the impact on other aspects of the Costpoint ERP systems.
Develops and fosters collaborative working relationships with both internal and external team members. Primarily communicates with other functional and technical Costpoint support staff
Develops methods and techniques to improve the processes including interfaces to ADP and Benefits providers.Provides guidance, assistance, and training to team members.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
5+ years of experience implementing and/or support of Costpoint HRIS experience, Industry 5-20 years
B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience or technical and/or product knowledge comparable to four-year degree in a related area
Experienced with all aspects of Microsoft Office products
Advanced degree or professional certification(s) preferred. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP), HR Management Professional (HRMP)
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of Human Resources/ Human Capital Management business processes best practices
Possesses in-depth Deltek Costpoint HR, Payroll, ESS, Labor/Leave, Time & Expense.
Relays concerns to project manager or client (if appropriate) with timely, meaningful, fact-based and constructive feedback
