Hr Coordinator

Job Summary: The Human Resource Coordinator will assist with the daily functions of the HR Department including but not limited to payroll, attendance, benefits and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Weekly payroll processing using both HRIS system and in-house system
• Daily attendance and documentation tracking
• Maintain HR database by updating and entering data for both new hires and current employees
• Assist new employees in enrolling for benefits at their initial enrollment period. Work with the HR director to ensure participation in the benefit open enrollment period.
• Assist with the implementation of employee recognition events as well other employee activities
• File documents into appropriate employee files and perform file audits to make sure all required documentation is accounted for and maintained
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets with relevant HR data
• Assist with disciplinary action documentation with the Operations Director
• Assist employees in the completion of leave of absence paperwork such as FMLA and STD
• Reconcile benefit statements
• Process employee terminations in HRIS
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned by the HR Director

• Understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
• Ability to remain calm and work well in high paced and, at times, stressful situations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• 2-3 Years of Human Resource experience required
• 1-2 years of Payroll experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
