HR BENEFITS COORDINATOR
NORTH CHICAGO, IL
Hybrid: 3 days onsite/2 days remote.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Benefits Experience- 3 years.
- Must have excellent business writing and oral communications skills.
- Needs strong project management skills.
- Must pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be a proficient user of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must work well in a team environment and be able to contribute independently.
- Must be self-directed and able to handle large, concurrent projects at the same time with minimal supervision.
- Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.

Project Description:
- The HR Benefits Coordinator is responsible for supporting US benefits administration, including partnering with vendors to resolve Tier 2/3 benefit issues, advocacy for employees related to health care issues, and oversight of retirement plan administration.
- Provide Tier 2 & 3 support for escalated health and welfare issues not resolved by external vendors or the HRConnect service center.
- Support includes employees, their dependents, and retirees in the US.
- Contribute to HRConnect initiatives, projects, and goals.
- dvocate for employees related to healthcare issues - work directly with the employee and vendor(s) to resolve claims issues.
- ttend benefits orientations to present the Client's benefits and assist with FAQs.
- Process billing for all benefit plans, including ASO and claims.
- Support benefits enrollment and administration for international relocations and global assignees.
- Provide data/documentation as required for plan audits and other projects as assigned.
- Manage issues and data problems with retirement vendors who provide services to active and retired employees.
- Provide primary support for retirement plan administration - 401(k)discrimination testing, manage contribution make-ups, support quarterly load in arrears reports, collect pension offsets, adjust service dates for rehires and contract conversions.
- Other responsibilities, activities and projects as assigned.
This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
