The HR Coordinator role reports to the Corporate Controller and has a critical role in owning the overall accuracy of our employee data. In this role, you will ensure information is accurate and up to date for payroll, employee records, and HR systems. You will own special projects such as Annual Benefits Enrollment and be in charge of the day-to-day work that allows us to provide clean, accurate data about and to our employees. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, deadline driven, and passionate about providing exceptional data and support.
This role is based in our Atlanta, GA office and is a hybrid position, requiring two days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate benefits administration, including ongoing tracking of benefits eligibility, leaves of absence, 401k, etc.
- Coordinate with brokers and our outsourced HR partners on ongoing needs and day-to-day processes, as well as annual benefits enrollment
- Ensure timely, accurate pay by working with Payroll to ensure relevant employee information, changes, attendance, and reconciliation is tracked and communicated
- Maintain accurate HR and employee records and data; run reports and conduct basic analysis on all employee data and metrics
- Ensure proper onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, and employee changes, including appropriate documentation and record retention
- Coordinate and administer activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including system updates and communication to employees as needed
- Primary point of contact for Atlanta office operations, including mail, supplies, and office event coordination
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Benefits Administrator, HR Coordinator, or similar role
- Experience administering employee benefits; coordination of open enrollment is a plus
- Working knowledge of human resources processes and compliance
- Experience with the payroll cycle
- Hands-on experience in updating compliance policies and procedures due to changing regulations
- Working experience with HR and/or Payroll systems: BambooHR & SummitHR experience is a plus
- Experience working with an outsourced HR partner is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to proactively hit deadlines
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
