The HR Administrator performs procedural and administrative duties for personnel under the direction of the HR Manager. This role helps create a positive employee experience by ensuring the HR department operates efficiently and performs administrative responsibilities accurately and in a timely and compliant manner.
This position reports to the HR Manager.
The HR administrator maintains employee records and ensures new employees supply key documents, such as proof of identity, proof of address, bank details and employment records, as per company policy. They also manage documents that relate to employment contracts, payment arrangements, employer insurance and benefits administration. This role maintains employment records in an orderly manner to provide easy access to data for authorized individuals.
This role will address queries regarding attendance, paid leave, payroll, and company culture. The HR administrator also provides support to employees during onboarding, assists in the administrative aspects of recruitment, and performs other employee-related or confidential administrative tasks as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining detailed employee records and documents.
- Coordinating data with various departments in relation to HR functions.
- Resolving employee queries relating to HR processes and administration.
- Supporting employee onboarding processes.
- Creating periodic reports relating to employee engagement, attrition, hiring and professional development.
- Producing internal company documents and communication material for employees.
- Implementing HR policies and working with managers to ensure their enforcement as directed by the HR Manager.
- Cultivating a positive and welcoming work environment through confidential customer service to employees and stakeholders.
- Assisting in recruitment efforts by maintaining job descriptions, posting ads on Indeed and within other platforms, and facilitating interviews conducted by the Director of Human Resources and other stakeholders.
- Human Resources related project management in accordance with established HR systems and requirements.

EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years experience in a Human Resources or administrative support role.
- Proven ability to work in confidential environments with integrity and discretion.
- Ability to work with Google Suite, and Asana.
- Customer service experience.
