Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides a range of administrative support to the Human Resource Office at Northwest Hospital and provides the highest level of service for internal and external customers at Northwest. Understands and maintains confidentiality. Assists LBH employees with general HR inquiries via phone, email, or onsite support in the HR office. Orders and maintains HR office supplies. Supports HR initiatives and HR team members. Complete understanding of all HR Services and other resources available to appropriately and effectively guide employees to SME's in the following areas: Payroll, Badging, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Employee Assistance Program, Occupational Health, etc. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Customer Service: Consistent delivery of excellent customer service; embracing a diverse workforce providing assistance with answering phones.
  • Communication Skills: Assisting HR visitors (employees and job applicants) with all HR related questions, escalating as appropriate.
  • Documentation: Scanning HR documentation and maintenance of all employee records.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Assisting with various aspects of onboarding employees as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Human Resource experience preferred
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's various HR systems, practices and policies
