Form of workHOUSTON, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - Houston family in Oak Forest is seeking a TEMPORARY NANNY for their twin 9-year-old boys ASAP. They are open to extending the position into a FULL-TIME LONG-TERM NANNY position for the right fit!
Hours are Monday - Friday, 6 am-6:30 pm. Duties include driving the children to and from school and after school activities, providing them with an afterschool snack, preparing dinner for the children, light cleaning, helping empty the dishwasher, doing the children's laundry, running the electric vacuum, and letting out the dog(50lb Golden Doodle) and feed him on occasion.
The parents both work away from the home and need a consistent and reliable nanny. Candidates will need to have their own reliable vehicle, and the family will be reimbursed for mileage. The perfect candidate will have a background in education and be able and willing to assist the boys with their homework.
Family prefers candidates who are Covid vaccinated. Start date is ASAP. Pay is $25+/hr gross based on experience.
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
