Job Description:
- The Client Referral Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining connections with individuals experiencing homelessness or ( If you work in a shelter, chemical dependency program or with vulnerable clients) , aiming to identify those in need of housing and related services.
- The role involves actively seeking out potential clients, assessing their housing needs, and referring them us so we can help them in finding housing or supportive services.
- Additionally, the specialist is tasked with ensuring clients have the necessary documentation for acceptance into housing stabilization programs and conducting follow-up to track progress and address any outstanding requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, and a comprehensive understanding of housing resources and eligibility criteria.
