The Houseman will work in our Hotel Department which includes, but is not limited to: lobby, cloakroom, public areas, public lands, and guest rooms.

Qualifications

Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Must have the ability to understand, read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and Team Members of other departments.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions given.

Must have excellent customer service skills.

Must be able to work without constant supervision.

The employee frequently is required to walk, climb or balance, talk and hear.

May be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pound

High school education or equivalent is required.

Must be able to work in team environment.

What You'll Do in Your Day-To-Day Career Hours

• Clean and maintain public areas, i.e. public bathroom, lobby area etc.
• Empties and cleans inside and outside garbage containers.
• Clean & maintain the fitness center free of debris and keeps machines clean.
• Cleans & Maintain swimming pool area.
• Walk around the property and parking lot and pick up visible objects to maintain the property's cleanliness.
• Assists housekeeping in pulling linens when busy.
• Maintains lobby floors and stairwells free of debris and keeps them clean and disinfected.
• Keeps hallway floors clean.
• Clean and maintain the conference room.
• Helps with conference room set-up when needed.
• Assists chief engineer on large projects when needed.
• Clean and tidy up all areas to the standard standards set by the company.
• Follow all health and safety regulations by wearing proper PPE. (This includes face mask, gloves, gown with long sleeves, pron and long pants)
• Complete other duties as assigned by Management. This could include but is not limited to cleaning out the kitchen, helping housekeepers or front desk staff.

Experience:

• Houseman: 6 months (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
