TECHNICAL
- Ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Orders and maintains supplies and equipment necessary to meet Center needs.
- Operates the department within budget.
- Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporate requirements.
- Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.
SUPERVISORY
- Meets department work goals through assignment of staff to Center needs.
- Observes and monitors staff performance. Coaches, praises and recognizes effective performance or takes disciplinary action after coaching as needed.
- Evaluates quality and quantity of services accomplished by staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and write English for business necessity
- Strong supervisory skills
- High School Diploma (G.E.D.) preferred
- One year experience in a long term care center preferred
CONSUMER SERVICE
• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
- Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
- Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
