Housekeeping/Laundry

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in our hotel, as well as ensuring that all laundry is properly cleaned and cared for.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Follow proper procedures for handling stained or delicate items
- Ensure all laundry is properly labeled and stored
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads if required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Skills:
- Cleaning: Proficient in cleaning techniques to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Laundering: Knowledgeable in proper laundering techniques for various fabrics and garments.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
