Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Position Summary: The Linen Runner will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department by facilitating the timely delivery and collection of linens and other supplies. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and possess excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently transport clean linens, towels, and other housekeeping supplies from the housekeeping warehouse to the designated storage areas and closets.
  • Collect soiled linens and deliver them to the housekeeping warehouse for cleaning and processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in linen storage areas and ensure proper stocking levels are maintained at all times.
  • Assist in the distribution of linens and supplies to various departments within the establishment, adhering to established schedules and requests.
  • Handle special requests for additional linens or supplies promptly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure a seamless flow of operations and efficient communication regarding inventory levels and any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular inspections of linens for stains, tears, and wear, and report any damages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Follow established protocols for the handling and storage of various types of linens, ensuring proper care and maintenance.
  • Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed or directed by the management.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Class driver’s license and meet current MVR guidelines.
  • Previous driving experience.
  • Ability to read maps.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures on the road.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
  • Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines / instructions in English

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach.
  • Manual dexterity of hand to use all equipment.
  • Ability to hear.
  • Ability to have color recognition.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and / or reach repeatedly.
  • Able to safely lift 70 pounds and carry, pull, and push heavy objects and materials.
