Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. The ideal candidate has experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management and possesses strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training, and scheduling
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, well-maintained, and meet company standards
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Conduct regular inspections daily to ensure quality control and address any issues or deficiencies
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and maintenance, informing management of what is needed
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks
- Handle customer complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness or maintenance issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor preferred, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of custodial and industrial cleaning techniques
- Familiarity with floor care equipment and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
