- Job Summary
- The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures upmost cleanliness of hospital rooms, offices, and laundry/linen. Prioritizes cleaning schedule and updates status of work areas. Creates staff schedules, assigning employees to various work areas as needed. Establishes and maintains departmental budget, addressing areas of concern in a timely manner. Assists Infection Prevention Coordinator in identifying, evaluating, and classifying tasks involving potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Participates in facility surveys and develops corrective action plans for departmental deficiencies.

- Education
- Required: High School Diploma OR Equivalent
- Experience
- Required: 6 months hospitality, healthcare, or cleaning experience
- Preferred: 1-2 years leadership/supervisory experience
- Skills
- Able to work alone and after hours frequently required.
- Able to stand and walk on a continual basis required.
- Observes all safety standards and uses safety work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrates the ability to be an advocate for and strive to protect the health, safety and rights of the patient.
- Materials Safety Data Sheet and Personal Protective Equipment: portrays awareness of safety protocols
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal policies governing Environmental Services and health care delivery
