Housekeeping Specialist, PRN

The LAMC Housekeeping department welcomes new staff to a work place that provides you with meaningful work, an ability to learn, flexibility in scheduling, competitive wages, and weekend and night differentials.  The position also allows for great patient interaction and a friendly family atmosphere. This position creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated area. Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

For those who will drive for the facility a Clean NM Driver's license is required.
