The Holiday Inn Express Buffalo Airport is currently seeking a Housekeeping Inspector. This is a physical, active job. Must have good mobility and able to bend and twist. Must have previous cleaning experience, ideally in a Hotel or Hospital setting. Must have excellent attendance able to work weekends and holidays.
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned, sanitized, fresh, and stocked.
- Oversee the cleanliness of entire property inside and outside.
- Proper handling of Lost and Found items
- Coordination with Front Office to update room statuses
- Must be able to work with a variety of personalities and motivate team members
- Must be able to complete assignments in time allotted
- Must maintain brand standard tasks to proper quality
A typical day starts at 8am. Duties include cleaning guest rooms, assist in laundry, and conduct room inspections.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
- Dusting
- Change bed linens, make crisp tucked beds
- Replenish supplies

Job description:
Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and baths under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, and friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.

- Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
- Greet guests and take care of requests
- Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
- Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
