Position: Housekeeping/ Maintenance Assistant

Edenbrook Rochester, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Housekeeping/Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing minor repairs, basic plumbing tasks, and routine cleaning duties. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

Housekeeping Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular cleaning duties, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Remove trash and recyclable materials to maintain cleanliness.

Maintenance Assistant:

  • Completing minor repair work, which includes painting, patching walls, assembly of equipment, ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking faucets and toilets.
  • Maintaining all outdoor areas, which entails mowing, trimming, and edging the lawn as well as shoveling snow and ice as required.
  • Taking inventory of maintenance supplies and notifying the Supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
  • Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is in good working order.

Requirements:

  • Ability to be on-call every other weekend.
  • Able to lift or pull 75 or more lbs.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
