Housekeeping Full Time Dayshift

Full Time. Days. Hours Vary.

JOB SUMMARY :

• Cleans and services hospital areas to ensure the safety, health and morale of patients, visitors and employees. Services Patient Care and Non-Patient Care areas.
• Responsible for removal of soiled linen, removal of infectious and regular waste, sharps container removal, general cleaning to include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and meeting/event set-up/breakdown.
• Provides a clean, attractive, and safe environment to enhance the patient, visitor, and staff experience.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or equivalent or higher preferred.
• Six months housekeeping or janitorial experience in healthcare facility preferred.
• Demonstrates oral communication skills required to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to promote and maintain cooperative and courteous relationships with team members, patients, visitors, providers, and others.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks. Basic knowledge of computers, mobile devices, and software applications required.
