Housekeeping Aide / Full Time - Monday to Friday, No Weekends!!!

NewCourtland Philadelphia Senior Center is seeking a Full TimeHousekeeping Aide to be part of our team. The worksite location is PSC Arts,509 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. This is a Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, 7.5 hours per day, No Weekends position. Parking is not available at this work location.

Pay rate: $15.00

Basic Purpose: The Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary and comfortable environment for members, staff, and the public. Training is available.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Sweeps floors and vacuums rugs
• Dusts and cleans all surfaces as required.
• Cleans and sanitized facilities
• Empty trash cans
• Performs other duties as required by management

Qualifications/Work Experience: Must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience in a custodian, janitor, or similar role. Minimum of one year’s experience performing above listed duties. Must be able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling throughout the day.
