Housekeeping Aide

Advanced Care of St. Joseph is seeking an energetic full-time Housekeeping Aide to join our team of professionals. You will be joining a collaborative team dedicated to improving the lives of our residents, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. You will be responsible for performing day-to-day activities of the housekeeping and maintenance department in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties as well as emergency housekeeping.
• Works jointly with maintenance department personnel to service floors, all resident's rooms, bath, lounge, nurse's stations, and offices as assigned.
• Cleans, dusts, washes, and disinfects all fixtures, floors, walls, doors, and ceilings, as required
• Maintain room readiness for admissions and discharges.
• Ensure that equipment, tools, and supplies are stored properly at all times.
• Conduct frequent inventories of supply stock and replenish when needed.
• Ensure entrance to facility and other common grounds are safe, attractive, and free of debris.
• Follow cleaning schedule as outlined
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

Requirements:

• MUST be a team player
• Housekeeping/maintenance experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
