Housekeepers For Senior Housing Complexes

Positions are for Community Services Programs, Inc.'s Senior Housing located in the Village of Wappingers Falls and City of Beacon.

Positions require maturity, reliability, trustworthiness and hard work.

Positions require ability to work independently and with a team, ability to follow a schedule, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, ability to maintain high standards and ability to create and maintain organization.

Positions require no less than three (3) years' experience in janitorial or housekeeping in similar setting, ability to meet requirements for bonding coverage and three (3) employment references, inclusive from supervisor(s) must be provided.

Positions require ability to project a positive representation to Tenants, Visitors, Colleagues and others.

A Drivers License is required and ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Positions require confidentiality.

BASIC ABILITIES

Additionally, must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five (25) lbs and be able to carry objects. Must be able to push and pull carts, and continuously walk and stand. Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate.
Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)·

Clean (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) common areas daily according to procedures/standards
· Maintains supplies and assists with ordering of products.
· Empty wastebaskets and replace bags.
· Dusting and polishing all surfaces.
· Wipe off all surfaces; windowsills, woodwork and counters
· Cleaning carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting, etc.
· Cleaning all common areas and common bathrooms daily, and as often as needed.
· Maintains housekeeping carts in clean, orderly manner
· Fill other positions as needed
· Cleans and washes window
· Other duties as requested.

Education: A high school diploma required.
