SUMMARY
The Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for upholding the company's cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and common areas in the hotel facility.
CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Change and replace all bed linens and towels.
2. Sanitize and clean all restrooms.
3. Dust/wipe down all room surfaces including but not limited to windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
4. Vacuum/mop all floors.
5. Restock all room amenities.
6. Assure all rooms are set up to company standards.
7. Cleans and maintains personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels, amenities, etc.
8. Ensure that linen turnover is minimized.
9. Make sure to use proper handling of chemicals and methods to wash/dry linen.
GUEST SERVICE
1. Offers guests assistance whenever possible.
2. Responsible for resolving escalated customer relations issues.
3. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
4. Must respond to and follow-up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
5. Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
6. Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security.
OTHER ASSIGNED DUTIES
1. Completes daily housekeeping reports
2. Informs the Executive Housekeeper or Front Desk staff when rooms are ready for new customers.
3. Reports any maintenance, security, or safety issues to the appropriate staff.
4. Perform weekly inventory of linen and supplies.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Able to lift up to 40 lbs
2. Able to stand for several hours at a time
3. Able to fulfill cleaning duties and meet standards
4. Able to work flexible shifts.
5. Comply with all Federal and State laws at all times.
6. Uphold Company's policies and procedures at all times, and be a role model to other employees.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
