Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team at My Smoky Rentals. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, including commercial buildings and residential/rental properties. If you have experience in commercial cleaning, residential cleaning, or custodial work, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow safety procedures and use proper cleaning techniques
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines
- Make and strip beds in rental units
Skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning or residential cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques is a plus
