Performs custodial work to ensure all areas of the medical office are clean and sanitized at a level compatible with local, state and federal health codes and regulations.
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines
Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Cleans and replaces bulbs.
Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, walls and floors using chemical and cleaning solutions.
Cleaning of windows and doors.
May also sweep walks, rake leaves, or perform other incidental seasonal task.
General cleaning of all areas of the facilities including but not limited to restrooms, laboratories, break areas, offices, hallways, waiting areas, and exam rooms.
Cleaning of all areas must be completed in compliance with industry standards and by following OSHA standards and guidelines.
Follow infection control precautions when cleaning all areas.
