Housekeeper - Luxurious Bed And Breakfast / Hotel

Clarendon Square, an award winning, 5 star reviewed luxury hotel / B&B in Boston's South End, is seeking experienced and dedicated part time housekeepers to join our team.

This exclusive opportunity is a great match for housekeepers who have worked in high net worth residences and luxury settings like hotels, vacation rentals or yachts. Our current housekeeper of 20 years is retiring and we are seeking:

Knowledge and experience cleaning and handling luxurious finishes, surfaces, linens and valuable items along with maintaining a peaceful and luxurious environment while always respecting guest privacy is vital to this role. While we are a Bed and Breakfast no cooking is required for this role.

Key Role Duties

The primary responsibilities involve maintaining the interior as well as a few, small exterior areas of beautifully restored, 4,800 square foot, luxurious, historic townhouse with six floors. Stairs are required for this position. The housekeeper will manage and turnover guest bedrooms for new guests including linen change, and a comprehensive bedroom and bathroom cleaning. We have five guest rooms each with its own bathroom. Additionally each day, the housekeeper will provide comprehensive daily cleaning or tidying up as needed like dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry and watering plants. Housekeepers will keep track of inventory of all cleaning supplies and guest amenities.

Schedule

Each shift would start at 12pm and last for an average of 3.5 hours depending on the day, sometimes a little more or a little less.

We are seeking housekeepers who can work 5-7 days a week, which could be around 17.5-25 hours a week depending on the number of days worked.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive compensation package offers a starting salary of $25 per hour along with credit to health insurance, 2 personal days, 5 vacation days, and bonus pay for holidays. Guests tips can often be expected for 5 star service.
