Candidate must be located on Hawaii Island.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas in vacation rental homes
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Change linens and make beds
- Laundry
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping and short term vacation rentals
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with custodial duties and floor care procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
Skills:
- Proficient in various cleaning methods and techniques
- Knowledge of housekeeping management principles is beneficial
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers
- Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects if required
