 Garden State Veterinary Services is growing so we are expanding our Housekeeping Department!

About GSVS: We are a multispecialty practice with boarded specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and critical care. Our clients and patients also have access to ophthalmology, oncology, radiation oncology, neurology, dermatology, and radioactive iodine treatment via our affiliated practice in Tinton Falls, NJ.

Housekeepers at GSVSservices are vital to our team as we cannot take care of our patients without your expertise in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the hospital. On a typical day here at GSVServices, you can be expected to do the following:

• Sweep, mop, wipe down all floors and surfaces
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of entire hospital up to and including treatment area, kennels, kitchen, exam rooms, outside, lobby, bathrooms, breakroom, and any other area as directed
• Manage any safety issue that presents as a possible hazard to the hospital team, patients, and the clients we serve

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• While experience as a housekeeper/janitor is preferred, it is not required
• Ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach, up to 100% of your shift
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and work in fast pace environment
• Positive outlook and friendly, team-orientated attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!

Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, 9AM-6PM
