Overview: Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for guests. The primary responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and ensuring that hotel facilities are kept in pristine condition. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established hotel standards, including changing linens, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure that bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a hygienic manner.
• Clean and maintain common areas such as corridors, lobbies, and stairways,.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Check and restock room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department or supervisor.
• Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff members to provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the hotel management.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues. Qualifications:
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks and lift/carry heavy objects.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hotel schedule. Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
