Housekeeper

One full-time opening is available immediately for a qualified individual to join the Food Service and Housekeeping staff at The Seeing Eye’s Morristown campus.

Housekeeping Responsibilities include:

• All cleaning duties related to bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas
• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and various other tasks

Food Service Responsibilities include:

• Serving meals, dining room preparation and clean-up after meals

Qualifications:

• One year of prior housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend and kneel as required
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to follow instructions regarding tasks and functions
• Must be able to verbally communicate with staff, students, guests, etc.

Job Specifications:

• Days worked will vary based on scheduling needs
• 37 hours per week. Availability required to work any of the following shifts:
• 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Monday - Friday
• 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Saturday and Sunday
• Some holiday work and one weekend per month required
• Availability to assist with an occasional evening event
• $18.00 per hour
