SalaryHousekeeper – Part Time - Temporary – For senior living apartment complex. Performs various housekeeping duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Represents the company in a professional manner and works as a team member along with the service staff to ensure the community meets the quality of standards set forth by TISHCO Properties LLC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Cleans occupied and vacant apartments to market-ready status
- Clean rugs, carpets and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers
- Clean appliances by using chemicals or solvents
- Disinfect and clean bathrooms
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms or mops. Sweeps communal walkways and areas such as breezeways, laundry room, office and fitness center
- Maintains cleaning supply inventory
- Maintain open communications with Resident Manager and co-workers
- Delivers various communications to residents as needed
- May be required to drive motorized vehicle on and off property for company business
- Must be honest and ethical in reports to supervisors, other management personnel and in relationships with the residents.
- Must be respectful of residents and their personal belongings while in their apartments
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram format.
- Ability to use various equipment including cleaning and shampooing equipment
Additional Requirements
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, push, pull, reach overhead, climb, grasp effectively and lift up to 25 pounds - 50 pounds on occasion
- Wear appropriate PPE
