POSITION SUMMARY
Represents Ticaboo Resort with assistance, information and a hospitable attitude. While consistently maintaining a high standard of cleanliness with strong attention to sanitation in guestrooms and surrounding areas.
Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, dusting, washing windows, vacuuming, etc. Keep hallways and closets in clean and orderly condition and well stocked with necessary supplies. Off season (Nov-May) duties may also include moving furniture and painting.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Report to Front Desk all lost and found items found in guest rooms and other locations. Make sure items are logged.
- Thoroughly clean all rooms and restrooms, including changing bedding, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning under the bed, under and behind furniture, window sills, shower curtains, toilet bowl, dishes, lamp fixtures, gather and emptying the trash. Make sure all sanitation guidelines are met.
- Clean all building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Dust walls, machines, and equipment
- Steam clean or shampoo guest room carpets if needed.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Notify manager concerning the need for major repairs.
- Deliver items to guest rooms and assist Guest as needed.
- Stock supplies in housekeeping closet such as coffee, shampoo, toilet paper, linens, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of closet by removing empty boxes and trash. Keep floor clean and shelves organized.
- Laundry duties including laundering and folding of linens
- Must be capable of completing a minimum of 12 rooms per 8-hour shift.
- Maintain a daily check in and stay over report. Check out and in assigned keys on a daily basis. Ensure all work areas are neat, clean and organized.
- All other duties assigned by Managers and Supervisors.
