Household Coordinator (Grundy Center, IA)

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the non-clinical job responsibilities of staff
• Provides leadership to a household team to meet each resident’s individual preferences
• Facilitates development plans for staff, assists with scheduling, contributes to evaluations, monitors performance and provides feedback through coaching, counseling and celebrating team success
• Works with the household staff to ensure that necessary appointments are made and travel arrangements are made
• Develops and interprets standards of care

• Completed or enrolled in a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program
• Be in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry within 3-6 months of hire
• 2 year’s of long term care experience preferred
• Excellent attendance required
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
