Responsibilities:
- Oversees the non-clinical job responsibilities of staff
- Provides leadership to a household team to meet each resident’s individual preferences
- Facilitates development plans for staff, assists with scheduling, contributes to evaluations, monitors performance and provides feedback through coaching, counseling and celebrating team success
- Works with the household staff to ensure that necessary appointments are made and travel arrangements are made
- Develops and interprets standards of care
- Completed or enrolled in a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program
- Be in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry within 3-6 months of hire
- 2 year’s of long term care experience preferred
- Excellent attendance required
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
