The House Keeping/Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and other designated areas as assigned. The House Keeping/Laundry Aide will also be responsible for laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing.

Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, and other designated areas as assigned
• Ensure all areas are clean and sanitary
• Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
• Handle and dispose of all waste in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior housekeeping and laundry experience preferred
• Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
• Ability to handle and dispose of waste in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
