SalaryThe Housekeeping Aide will assist in the general cleaning of all common areas and resident rooms. Cleaning duties include vacuuming, sweeping and dusting; sanitizing floors and rooms; and discarding and removal of waste/trash. You may also be asked to assist with laundry including resident's personal items, linens and bedding.
QUALIFICATIONS for the Housekeeping Aide:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years’ experience in housekeeping in a long-term health care setting
- Must be able to read, write, speak and follow written and oral directions in the English language

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Housekeeping Aide:
- The Housekeeping Aide must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
- Removal of trash & soiled linens
- Keeping the resident’s environment clean at all times
