As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. Responsibilities:
- Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily hotel transactions and ensure accuracy
- Verify the accuracy of guest accounts by reviewing charges and credits
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the overnight shift
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with managing reservations and room assignments
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Complete end-of-shift reports and communicate important information to the day shift team
Skills:
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality
- Knowledge of hotel operations and experience in hospitality management
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it allows for effective communication with diverse guests
- Familiarity with night audit procedures in a hotel setting is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in using phone systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately reconcile financial transactions
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management software
