Hotel Maintenance

Hampton Inn & Suites in Alliance, Ohio, is seeking to hire a full-time maintenance employee. This person will be responsible for providing preventative, routine, and on-demand maintenance for our 86-room hotel property with an indoor pool. Previous Hotel Maintenance experience is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Completes daily preventative maintenance checklist for hotel
• Performs routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and PTAC units
• Ensures pool is well-maintained by checking daily and adjusting chemical levels as needed
• Conducts regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
• Responds promptly to maintenance requests from guests and management
• Inspects all areas of property to ensure they are well-maintained
• Repairs equipment and fixtures as needed
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Works with other departments to ensure hotel property is clean, well-maintained, and inviting for every guest

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in general maintenance and repair work
• Ability to learn new skills as needed for Hotel Maintenance
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Courteous communication skills for interacting with guests and other team members
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
