Hotel Housekeeping

At Holiday Inn Express, we provide our guest with grand accommodations and top-notch service. Housekeeping is a vital part of creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a hotel or similar settings and will be able to maintain a high level of cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the hotel. They will be responsible for sanitizing, stocking supplies, laundry, and other general housekeeping duties.

We are looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and tidy up all hotel rooms.

· Assist with other cleaning areas such as hallways, elevators, lobbies, common areas, fitness and business centers.

· Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging services.

· Respond in a timely matter to guest special requests for miscellaneous items such as cribs, cots, extra towels or toiletries, etc.

· Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture.

· Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors.

· Empty all trash bins and replace bags.

· Change linens and towels, along with replacing all toiletries and restocking complimentary items.

· Report any maintenance issues or damages.

· Restock cleaning supplies and all items on the hand cart daily.

· Follow all policies and procedures, along with adhering to all safety and security procedures.

· Other duties may apply as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be 18 years of age.

· Have reliable transportation.

· Strong detail-oriented, organization, listening, and communication skills.

· Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.

· Ability to push and pull heavy equipment, along with lifting up to 25 pounds.

· Ability to work shift assigned, weekends, and holidays.

· At least 1 year of cleaning or housekeeping experience.
