Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are kept clean and presentable, including hallways, lobbies, and common areas
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as shampooing carpets and washing windows
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
Skills:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods
