The Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach will be the newest hotel in the area as well as the only branded full service hotel in Rehoboth.
We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Front Office Manager at this location - a position that will start about one month prior to opening in order to work with the management team to set rooms and develop a plan for operational excellence - specifically as it relates to guest service. The opening date is currently set for April 2024.
We are looking for an individual that is excited to assist in opening a new property and piecing together a team that will provide exceptional service for all guest stays. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Oversee operations at the front desk and ensure delivery of top quality guest service at all times
- Implement a training program that instills our service model in all Guest Service Representatives placing a large emphasis on employee development
- Review and respond to all online guest reviews through third party channels and Medallia via Choice Central - bringing attention to the General Manager when there is an item that needs attention
- Assist the General Manager with the recruitment, hiring, and retention of Guest Services staff
- Interact and engage with hotel guests in person, via email, and over the phone - assisting with guest inquiries and making an effort to mitigate and guest complaints
- Maintain inventory of the front desk area - office supplies, collateral, and marketplace / gift shop items
- Create the weekly schedule for the Guest Services team
- Conduct periodic team meetings with the Guest Services staff with an effort to improve training and communication with policies and procedures
- Encourage Guest Service Representatives to ask for online reviews from happy guests and to seek Choice Privileges enrollments
- Review time punches and complete bi-weekly department payroll
- Assist the General Manager with reviewing and responding to credit card chargebacks
- Participate in daily management stand-up meetings and property walk throughs
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
