Hotel Front Desk Agent

A Front Desk Agent is responsible for checking hotel guests in and out of their rooms. They are responsible for ensuring that every single guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel. A few of the main duties of a Front Desk Agent are greeting guests at the Front Desk, answering any questions, recommending activities and restaurants to guests, and answering any phone calls.

Duties

- Check guests in and out of their rooms

- Have a "Yes" mentality and answer any questions guests may have

- Make recommendations for activities, restaurants, and area information

- Answer the phone and direct it to the Sales Manager

- Maintain guest records

- Welcome guests upon their arrival

- Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure all inquiries are handled appropriately

Skills

- Customer Service and "Yes" mentality

- Understanding of the hospitality industry and reservation software such as Cloudbeds and RoomKey PMS

- Understanding of Travel Sites such as Booking, Expedia, and TripAdvisor

- Work experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
