A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL DOOR PERSON / HOTEL DOOR ATTENDANT

The Door Person / Hotel Attendant will maintain the highest level of professional and courteous interactions. As guests arrive, they open the door and warmly welcome them. As they leave, they wish them a safe departure. They handle guest luggage, deliver messages for guests, and drive various vehicles each shift. They make sure to always promote good customer relations by consistently meeting customer requests and exceeding their expectations. While following all safety protocols, they use and maintain equipment properly which includes keeping equipment clean. Some of their other duties include providing information about the area, giving directions, keeping the facility clean, communicating with guests on the phone, and working with valet attendants to ensure seamless arrivals and departures. They have fun and feel good about helping others have the best hotel experience possible!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOTEL DOOR PERSON / HOTEL DOOR ATTENDANT

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods of time as well as maneuver a bell cart and wheelchair over considerable distances
• Ability to pass a criminal background check upon hire
• Ability to repeatedly retrieve cars
• A customer service-oriented attitude
• Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes

Customer service experience is preferred. Are you able to maintain a professional appearance? Do you enjoy interacting and helping others? Can you follow instructions well?
