DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains a well-stocked, breakfast/reception room for hotel guests
Prepares and serves all food products as needed, insuring proper presentation
Transports food from preparation area to breakfast/reception room for timely set-up
Maintains coolers, machines, coffee machine and tables at acceptable levels of sanitation and organization at all times
Stocks dishware, silverware, Styrofoam cups, condiments and other items as needed
Checks and maintains coolers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity and quality of food products
Requisitions food with necessary approvals according to policy
Takes proper care of all equipment
Report to the supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
Monitor and control supplies and food, and minimize waste within all areas of comp services.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
This job requires ability to perform the following:
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place object weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility, bending, stooping, kneeling and stretching.
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
