Hotel Breakfast Attendant

We’re looking for a Breakfast Attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well stocked. Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests’ cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about customer service and has experience working in a food service role. $11 - $13 hourly

• Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends and arrive promptly at 5 am when scheduled
• Help maintain a high level of cleanliness in the breakfast area and public areas of the hotel
• Must be able to engage in conversation with guests
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and proper uniform
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
• Respond to guest's needs, special requests, and complaints
• Complete food and supply inventories on a weekly basis
• MUST BE ABLE TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAILS

• Have a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Be able to communicate in the primary language spoken in the workplace
• Previous hospitality or food service experience is a plus
• Be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, grasping, writing, standing, walking, sitting, stretching, bending, squatting, hearing, speaking, and having visual acuity
• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
