Responsibilities: - Assist with banquet and catering events, including setting up and breaking down event spaces - Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded - Take orders and operate cash register for food and beverage purchases - Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including food preparation areas and dining areas - Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure proper handling and storage of food - Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events Skills: - Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in banquet or catering settings, is preferred - Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling monetary transactions accurately - Basic math skills for calculating orders, handling cash, and managing inventory - Knowledge of brewing techniques for coffee or other beverages is a plus - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Understanding of food safety regulations and practices to ensure proper handling of food Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
