Job Description:
We are looking to hire a Hotel Investment Analyst to work with its Hotel Investment team in analyzing prospective investments across the country. The Analyst is responsible for underwriting new investments via modeling projected returns, corresponding with listing brokers, and assessing the merits and feasibility of each project closely alongside the rest of the Investment team. The Analyst also plays an integral role in the company’s due diligence process once a target investment has been identified and will participate in site visits and market assessments. The Analyst will also directly assist in accumulating and evaluating financial information for property dispositions and refinances of the company’s existing portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in depth- financial analysis of potential hotel investments, including revenue projections, expense analysis, and cash flow modeling.
- Stay abreast of market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform investment decisions.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential hotel acquisitions, including property inspections, market studies, and financial document review.
- Identify and assess risks associated with hotel investments, including market volatility, operational challenges, and regulatory factors.
- Monitor the performance of existing hotel investment, analyze financial results and identify opportunities for value enhancement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to facilitate the investment process and ensure successful execution of investment strategies.
Requirements:
- undergraduate required (all fields of study welcomed, STEM, finance, economics, and real estate preferred).
- Real Estate Investment, Investment Banking, or relevant professional experience a strongly preferred.
- Advanced User in Microsoft Excel
